Graphic Novel Look in Potoshop

Today I took a normal photo and used photoshop to make it look like a graphic novel photo

Color Matching Photoshop pt. 3

I’m matching the color of an very highly saturated image, by matching from the poster below,

After selecting the area of the blue guitar, i go back to my image and match the color from the selection and this is what you get:

I matched the color from the hdr photo below,

to this photo and tweaked it to get my effect.

Woodgrain Exercise Photoshop

We used a combination of layers and filters to create woodgrain from a blank canvas. We used the fibers to create the wood grain then used the liquefy filter to make it look more “real.” We also made it square so that it could easily tile.

Non Destructive Dodge and Burn Tool with Layers in Photoshop

Here we took a photo and added a layer filled with 50% gray, then set the blending mode to overlay. By doing this we can use our dodge and burn tools to darken or lighten specific areas according to your artistic expression.

Inserting Images into Text with Photoshop

We took and ordinary photo of the chicago skyline and put a generic text on top, then copied the background layer to above the text layer and scaled it up to get an interesting effect.

Movie Poster Photoshop

We took the photos below and combined them to make a mock movie poster.
